Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public a real measure of access to warrant information, but the hard part is working out which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not sit in one place. The court that issued it sets the charge and the bond. The sheriff's office carries out the order and can speak to service. Support warrants run through a family office with its own calendar and its own bond practice. Bench warrants for a missed date stay with the judge in that case, and a city citation can route to a county court instead of a city one.
That split is where most confusion starts. A reader checks one office, hears that nothing is there, and stops looking. We pulled the contact details, search routes, record fields, and request steps for the Cass County offices into one reference, so the first call goes to the right place.
What You Will Find Here
These are the sections a reader usually needs, in the order a warrant question tends to move.
- Warrant lookups: how to run a warrant lookup by name or case number through the district and circuit case routes
- Outstanding warrants: why Cass County posts no public roster and how to check an outstanding warrant another way
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise here and which file room holds the case
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued by a judge and served by deputies
- Resolving a warrant: the route from an attorney to a bond payment and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no tie to any Michigan court, sheriff's office, or state agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot clear, recall, or quash a warrant in any system
- We cannot post bond or accept payment toward a warrant
- We cannot set a court date or arrange a surrender
- We cannot give legal advice or apply a warrant to your situation
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or listing here is current
Only the issuing court, or the sheriff's office that holds the record, can confirm that a warrant exists or that it has been recalled. We can point you to the right counter, and that is where our part ends.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes that outside companies run. Those companies set their own prices and handle their own results. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that money keeps this reference free to read. What those tools charge and what they return are outside our control, and their output is not an official warrant check.
